From a cherished homemade recipe to a gourmet condiment brand — iV's Gourmet was built on bold, artisan flavours worth sharing. What started as a best-kept secret among friends and family has grown into a proudly handcrafted range loved by food enthusiasts everywhere
iV's Gourmet launched in late 2022, almost by chance. A close friend encouraged us to bring our signature jalapeño mayo to the local market — but we knew one product wasn't enough. So we crafted two more small-batch, artisan mayo flavours to debut alongside it: a bold horseradish mayo and a warmly spiced curry mayo. Three handcrafted gourmet condiments, one unforgettable launch.
How It All Started
The idea for our very first product, the jalapeño mayo, came when we wanted to recreate a specific burger sauce. Our version turned out even better than expected, and soon it became the star of parties and braais. Friends loved it, and before long, so did we.
Bringing the Brand to Life
With a background in design, we were able to craft our own labels and build a strong brand identity from the start. This helped us look professional and market-ready, even as a small business finding its way.
Where We Are Today
Today, our bestsellers include the Biltong-Style Mayo, Asian Chili Crisp Mayo, and Curry Mayo—each with its own loyal fans. We’re also especially excited about our new range, Turn Up Your Mayo. These versatile spice blends can be stirred into any mayo to create a bold dip, spread onto burgers and wraps, or even rubbed onto meats for the braai. We’re busy developing recipes to showcase just how many ways you can enjoy them.
